So after spending the last hour or so almost entirely queuing, I decided to make a post. You guys absolutely need to separate Skirmish and Deathmatch. On the one hand I love Deathmatch and on the other Skirmish is a pile of crap. I have zero interest in the mode whatsoever and feel it is a complete load of bollocks that I have to queue for a game I hate just to occasionally get into the mode I prefer. And the 'preferred' option seems to exist solely to allow the game to mess with me and queue me for the mode I don't prefer. That's how effective it is.
I enjoy mainly Deathmatch with some Dominion, 2v2 and 1v1 thrown into the mix for a change of pace, but every single time I start a skirmish match I immediately leave. I have zero interest in playing a mode that I hate and especially not when it lasts longer than pretty much every other mode by a large margin (with the exception of some Dominion games). I played the beta and if this had been live during the beta I would definitely not have bought this game.
Could a dev provide some feedback? I have friends who were holding off buying the game but if this horrible oversight isn't addressed I will not only recommend they wait for some other game, but I'll be getting rid of the game myself. Are you planning to address this? It seems like it wouldn't be a large fix since it has nothing to do with gameplay mechanics.
