While driving my vehicle seems to be stuck in first gear. I am no longer able to be the driver for my squad, due to being the slowest person in the game. I have a brand new controller so I doubt that is the problem. I am seeing if anyone else has this problem or even better a solution for this problem.

you press the trigger button down again when in low gear to change up. i had this on closed beta but then you drive some narrow tight roads i guess its a safe gear for them just need to get used to it i did.

OK, I never realized while I played that you had to manually switch gears. Ill need to try that when I get on later. Good info!!

I am playing right now, so i am testing different things out. I trying this currently but it doesn't seem to be working.

To add to this problem it appears that i drive faster in reverse than i do going forwards.
