so i'm fighting the Unidad and accidentally got detected. so one patrol shows up and i hide to see if they go away and they don't. they manage to blow up their own car. so more patrols show up. i'm thinking ok i will just sit in a building and hide until they go away. 20 minutes have gone by and they're STILL hanging around. They won't go away. and if i attack them, more will show up. What do i need to do to get them to go away? is this a bug or something and if so or even if not this issue of the unidad patrols has to be fixed. they should just go away after a certain amount of time. not hang around forever.
Yeah I was dealin with this too.. I got 3 marks by them with 2 choppers, I hid in jungle. I waited about 10 minutes without being seen hoping the mark would go away.. but no, the choppers kept buzzing around and randomly saw me so there was no way to do it. My guess is to find some kind of building to run into. I tried running to where I thought was a base for there to be no open building, still couldn't hide. Fought and killed choppers, then accidentally jumped to my death. Hopefully this can be tweaked a little, even GTA cops weren't this annoying. It probably would be even less annoying if driving a getaway vehicle was possible, but the driving mechanics in this game annoy me more than anything.
This. For the most part, response is actually decent. While at the very start of the game, its a bit much, the further you progress into the game, the more it makes sense on why they are relentless in trying to get you.Originally Posted by walkgeo Go to original post
Well game time wise its longer than "10-20 minutes" but in other games with similar encounters, Im not having to wait so long for enemies to go away. Obviously RL would be different, but this is a game, I dont want to be wasting time for them to not even leave an escape route. Im guillied hiding under a tree, then after its said "ok were in the clear" multiple times copters keep coming back and somehow see me hiding. The only thing Im grateful for is that when I die at least I still have my completions, so next time I'll just aim to die since its less of a waste of time, until Im bored enough to want to deal with that. I don't mind waiting it out, but Id again like to see my waiting achieving some kind of get away, especially if on the radios they're saying that I must have left, and Im told all clear.. Makes me think its more of a bug. But yes I see how it could be funny ^.^Originally Posted by walkgeo Go to original post
