Aside from balance
1) Make it cross play and also enable queue customization (mix 1vs1 duels with 2vs2 duels for faster matchmatching for example)
This way the wait times will be reduced BY A LOT and also will improve connnections since we will have more players in our respective regions (no more other continent matchmatching in high elo duels)
2) Reverse network changes to open beta state and improve it based on that build, open beta was 90% playable compared to the actual 20% playable games since the "network improvements" they made in live version.
3) Enable Gear stat on/off in all of the 4+ players modes (since the reputation + gear matchmatching is broken in this queues this is a must)
4) if network problems persist after the changes in 4 players+ modes, make servers for that modes (for fairness this type of p2p is really good, so 1vs1 and 2vs2 should use the actual p2p system)
5) To boost your sales and also enable more training and fun to the players make a local split-screen mode, your combat system is too good to dont do that, abuse the game great points. Also local multiplayers sell a lot (still single player for online)
