The worth of the cosmetics are purely subjective from a player perspective, so I'd really like to see every color, engraving, etc. Purchasable with Steel instead of being locked to Rep 7 lvl 20 (for stuff I don't even want).
I think this could rake in even more money for you guys up at Ubisoft. If I can buy almost all of my cosmetics, why not purchase steel for them if I have the cash?

I was using it as an example, some of the higher rep stuff I may not want but there's someone out there who does. Tying a completely subjective set of items to an objective reputation gain system just doesn't sit well with me. Let me buy what I want instead of having to grind for weeks just for a simple color palette.

For me, the game revolves 50% around cosmetics, and to be honest, if all the skins were suddenly unlocked and purchasable with steel, I would feel ****ed out of my replay value.
Literally the only reason why I'm trying to get to rep 30 is because of the skin involved or I'd be out playing another character already.
This rep system is what motivates me to become a better player, in my eyes, it supports one another, if I had access to the rep30 skin, I'd probably lose interest after losing one too many times and call it a day.
I want to have something special that not everyone has, and I don't mind working hard for it.
But that's just me.
