    Faction Loyalty Bonus

    So I've noticed this issue in regards to the Faction War. It makes no sense and seems almost pointless, especially when you've got people from the same faction fighting on both sides of any one match, making it essentially a free-for-all.

    On top of that, you have people of any one faction playing as heroes from opposing factions. While I would not lightly suggest a faction lock for characters (because that goes against the intent of the developers) I do however have an alternative solution that ties into the Faction War.


    A simple Faction War Bonus. As those who manually deploy War Assets will note, there are small bonuses applied throughout the course of the Faction War; e.g. (End of Round Bonus 20%) (Front Bonus 20%), hell there's even a bonus for being the undermanned and ganged up on faction when you're pressed at your own territory.


    With this line of thinking, my suggestion is this. I propose that a 25% to 30% or even higher Faction Loyalty Bonus should be applied, for playing as a hero from your chosen faction as opposed to a hero from a rival faction.

    Further improvements might have matchmaking align people of the same faction together, rather than mixed teams, unless the team is pre-made, in which case an algorithm should be made to prioritize pre-made teams with other pre-made teams.



    It's a pretty simple concept, and shouldn't take long to add to the already existing system should no one have an issue with it.

    I like your train of thought, but I simply don't like the execution of it.
    Have you seen the current imbalance in the faction wars lately?
    It's a pretty close tie between vikings and samurai at the moment, with the knight faction being dead last.
    So far, I'm seeing mostly 'Samurai heroes' in my games.
    To me, I see this going south really fast for the knights and vikings, although vikings might actually stand a chance.
    Knights, however, would have to resort to the second coming of Apollyon.
