    Active abilities... wait a minute...

I have a problem with active abilities:

I was fighting an elimination game yesterday and there was a very good Orochi on the other team, we were winning, but he always managed to kill his opponent and was the last one to fall, and I had the chance to experience why:

I was paired with the Orochi on the third round, first thing he does, he activates the longbow ability, I dodge, the ability still hits me, takes 3/4 of my Berserker life away (WTF!?), Orochi rushes in, two light attacks, one strong, execution. He did the same twice more, downing 2 more of my teammates in another round.

The berserker has a very similar ability (throw axe) that probably does the same regarding damage but it s even worse: A new axe spams in the Berserker's hand after throwing it.

Well, first of all, where does that extra axe come from? If the Berserker used that ability, it should lose the axe and would have to go recover it, but that does not happen.
The same thing with the Orochi, where do they carry the bow? an Orochi with a bow shouldn't be able to move as freely as an Orochi without a bow (movement penalty?)... I don't know if you get where I'm going.

Same goes with buf and debuf abilities... why Juggernaut fo Warlord? Why Berserker? why the stamina-bomb? How is justifiable that a character can boost their abilities for a short period of time? How is it justifiable that a character can deplete stamina of a rival by throwing a bomb? So, why active? If we make them passive, reduce the percentage to a very low number, we can justify that the character is so good when reaching level 3 or 4 in that fight, that inspires fear into their opponents (-verylow% of stats to opponents), OR motivates allies (+verylow% of stats to allies), OR has his muscles warmed up (+verylow% of damage), OR feels more confortable in his armor (+verylow% of defense), OR boots feel better (+verylow% of speed), OR learns combat-breathing (+verylow% of Stamina), etc. (Choose 4 before starting the match)

This is a game of risk and reward, and active abilities do not have any risk (there is no material time to get close to the Orochi/Berserker to hit him when he activates the ability). Active abilities do not fit with the game.

To put it straight, I think all active abilities should be re-thought (if not removed). You want to have abilities? Fine, make them passive.

    Thanks

Many feats are BS and ruin the game. They should be removed.
