All blocks are now reflex block and blocking an attack drains a small amount of stamina (less than a light attack) this drain can only occur every 0.5 seconds or so to nullify several attacks hitting at the same time, but allowing all 1v1 attacks to get through.
Parries will still be possible, but require more precise timing.
Dramatically lower the block defense stat on assassins to fill the place of their reflex block being normalized. This still puts them at a blocking disadvantage as designed.
Then, I believe if we:
Make parries only allow light attack timings or GB. Give the same treatment to GB, only allowing it light attack timings.
Allow combos to persist unless parried
Only allow free GB off parry or whiff instead of some blocks and such
We will have a much more solid combat system.
