    If they shove and start the guard-break, tech it like you would any other attempt. You recover from the shove before the guard-break, unlike you do with parries, and can tech it. You just have to be quick, but given that you get fair warning ahead of time, it shouldn't be that difficult.

    I can't gb counter for **** atm until they get the patch out, but that was my plan. it doesn't work at all for me right now. XD

    ive got over 90% winrate with the lawbringer in 1v1 duels. so he cant be that bad.

    I've got a 100% success rate playing russian roulette, so it can't be that dangerous.

    TBH, the LB just needs a small tweak to his guard stance change time. If that was changed I think he would be in a great spot, hes a good character overall if you have the reaction time to parry light attacks, if you don't than him being a good character goes out the window, because of the slow block change timer even if you can parry lights you still have to pray and hope that the PK/Nobushi/Berserker make a mistake and attack where you have your guard at, if they don't they can infinite combo you for the most part.

    I understand why he says its horrible, because if you could cancel it you could play mindgames with your opponent. My biggest complaint about the lawbringer is he really has no potential for mind games besides shove to guardbreak or shove to long arm.
