Random respawn locations would only serve to lessen PVP engagements. When you lose a team member good groups gravitate towards the spawn point. When you go rogue, you either camp spawn points or go away from them. There's a tactic around these. Making it random would only benefit those who want to avoid PVP IMO.

Unless there isn't a single item I still need or want, loot in the DZ will never feel rewarding in my eyes.
It would feel like less of a chore though. Right now, clearing the PIT gives you almost enough items for an extraction (2 sealed caches + 2 items from boss + 2 items from chest). The Q Building is insane (4 Sealed Caches + 2 from the Chest + 2 From boss), so you basically extract almost after every single landmark. Which is too frequent IMO. I tend to believe that, yes, were you able to extract more items and have a larger DZ stash would make groups extract more.

And, again, I do agree that exotic items should be added to loot tables in the DZ, no arguing against that at all from me Art.

I think the reason why you need to extract so quickly, is to trigger as many extractions as possible, ideally leading to PVP combat. Whether this idea works right now or not is hard to tell from a single user perspective, but I can also hear the crying already, when ppl lose 10+ items on death.
Yep, I'm really saying that Art. And here's my reasoning. An extraction takes quite a bit of time. Getting there, calling the chopper and waiting for the chopper to leave takes around 5 minutes usually. Making each trip to an extraction point a little more worthwhile would, IMO, make it more appealing for some people. And it would also make DZ farming the top banana, or close to anyhow, in terms of items per hour, again. With risks, of course, which is what the DZ is about.

And yeah, I agree that extractions are bait for PVP in the DZ, and I like that idea BTW.
