I have played the Nobushi as my main since about 60% of the way through the open beta. I started with the PK and it just didn't fit in my play style range. What I'm trying to figure out is how to feint an attack.
I know the buttons Right Trigger => B
The issue I have is it appears to keep swinging. I don't actually see the attack stop. Is it supposed to? Am I just not understanding that it's supposed to look the same until I do another attack?
The other thing I struggle with is the guard break timer. Suggestions on this one as well?
Pretty good work on Nobushi guide.
About Hidden Stance: I really understand that you cant use it fully, cuz on pad using it just suck. But its really great tool for PC player (like me). You can faint with it every move (even light attacks) you can end recovery time of attacks (someone trying to punish you for missed heavy? I press C and dodge his attack when animation of my missed attack didnt end yet, by using Hidden Stance) and you can even dodge using it moves like Warden Shoulder Bash, Warlord's Headbutt or Lawbringer Shovel, cuz using Hidden Stance in right moment count as you would use side/back dodge, but you can chain in for any attack or kick. Its really powerfull tool. Ofc, its hide your indicator too, so enemy is informed from side you attack a bit later from hidden stance then from attack from neutral position, what means that your light attacks have higher chance to not being parried from hidden stance.
Well, best advice i can give you: Practice. Go to custome match, change to duel mode, change to 99 round in rules, in options change damage to "no damage", pick a bot (i prefer PK, cuz she like to do GB) and practice timing on counter GB.Originally Posted by xXl Plan B lXx Go to original post
About feints. You need to press feint button at start of animation. If your character start swinging attack its too late. Normal feint works only on heavy attacks. Practice that too on 0 lvl bot.
To everyone who is quoting him on saying hidden stance is useless, he has repeatedly said that his reasoning was for it that he plays on console (PS4) and the button configuration isn't reliable. I think it's strange that console users can't rebind their keys like PC users can because I was forced to rebind my Hidden key to M4 before I could make any real good use out of it.
Anyway thanks for the read.
Thanks for the advice. I will try that regarding the GB
As for the feint man I hit that B Button as soon as I hit the RT and it still doesn't stop. I guess I'll have to custom match that one as well.

I am looking into playing Nobushi as my second Hero (first is currently Warden). Nobushi seems to be strong enough that it should be able to reach at least High Tier. Nobushi is the queen of Mixups with all the Kicks and Dodges and Attacks chained one after another. Add a cancellable GB and she would wtfpwn Warden. But she does have advantages over the likes of Warlord, Conqueror, Warden and Shugoki... She has range. I think she's might be one of the non top-4 heroes who can actually beat a top 4 heroes at equal player skill level. She might be number 5, lol.
Well I can safely say that I'm a Noobushi. After 2 prestiges with kensei and a decent(imo) win rate of 60% with him,I tryed her just to understand how to counter what I thought to be one of the easiest class due to her range. After just reading all her moves,I understood just how much I was wrong.I'm loving to play her, despite the fact that I suck with her (around 40% win rate now).My greatest problem is facing chars with dashes:everytime I attack,kensei/pk/orochi/zerk just side attack me for free damage. Her side heavyes are also hard to hit since I've yet to figure the range. At least I'm not the only one that has problems with hidden stance,I would really like to rebind it to l1.
Nobushi in 'my own opinion' is overpowered, and doesn't take much skill to use and master. every nobushi character i fight, runs and never engages me, just poke to cause bleed then run and wait for my health to drain. I think she will get a nerf anyway. i used her and it was too easy and boring doing the same thing, over and over again, dont get me wrong she is great if you like easy wins.
You can get easy wins with every hero if your opponent doesn't know the matchup or can't escape/parry a light spam(which is still uneffective with her because she has one of the slowest speeds in switching guards). What you find boring in her?She has more moves than any other char,of course just like faints if the enemy charges blindly you just keep your range and take the free hits.If you want easy wins, warden is the way to go.Originally Posted by DrinkinMehStella Go to original post
