Grabbing after parry failing, repeatedly. Ubisoft address this issue.

I would like a clear answer from Ubisoft if this is working as intended. Playing as a Warden, if I go up against an Orochi, Berserker, Conqueror, or Nobushi with an extremely high gearscore (normally 90+), they are able to guard-break out of my grabs after I parry them (something that is supposed to be a guaranteed thing). I have noticed this occuring on the level 3 bots as well. Has there been any word from Ubi regarding if this is working as intended or is there anyone else in the community that has discovered more information on this particular situation?

Updating: I have since encountered a Warlord with the ability to guardbreak after being parried as well, I believe this is 100% tied to a stat on gear, which stat is still up for debate.

Gear score means nothing in guard breaks however Nobushi and Lawbringer are two that aren't supposed to be able to be guard broke after parry however nobu I think allows most classes to get a free overhead heavy and lawbringer gives free lights and side heavies. (Don't qoute me on the side heavies for LB, haven't seen someone try it on me.)

    You are wrong.

Debuff resistance stacking can cause this.

You are completely misunderstanding what I am trying to explain, I am not a noob and I know that some attacks are put out of for the grab itself. What I am saying is that I parry people in grab range, giving me the free grab, and they are breaking out of it. Not only that, it is consistently only people with high gearscore, so I have evidence to support my claim.

really?? I didnt know debuff resistance affected recovery times on parries. I don't think it should at all considering that changes the fundamental mechanics of the game's combat system...

This man is correct, however, I have an interesting finding to report that i'd like others to try and replicate. My friend and I tested out stacking it, he was on his Valk and I was on my Warden. Through debuff stacking he was able to recover from grabs that are normally not supposed to be gotten out of, such as: When caught in a grab dashing backwards, wiffing your own grab, and after being parried.

Here's the interesting part: On my Warden, no matter how high I stacked debuff resistance, I was never able to break out of situations like that, even with a purple helm that was 100% Debuff Resistance maxed.

Could others please try and replicate this so I can get more confirmation on it? AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD UBISOFT COULD YOU RESPOND TO WHY THIS IS HAPPENING AND IF IT IS WORKING AS INTENDED.

That might explain, why certain bots nearly instantly recover from bring hit, parried or thrown etc.

Correct me if I'm wrong but it is always lvl 3 bots that do these sort of things, so I'm almost certain you are right.
