I have heard that the game (for honor)would be crossing-platform.
Would it be possible to cooperate with a friend who is on PS if I am on Xbox1?

Just the faction war element is cross-platform, not the play element.

Hi Gouraloup - unfortunately game play in For Honor is not cross platform. Only the faction war metagame is cross platform.
