So I just got called a pay to win dbag in 1v1

lol wut? I love the salt in this game. Just had 5 rounds with my Reputation 2 Conqueror against an Orochi who dominated me for the first two matches. Ended up coming back to claim victory after 3 more very intense and close fights. As the final round finishes i say to my opponent:

"Good game man, that was so close"

    His response:

    "Pay to win ******bag"

You couldn't have beaten him because you're better. The only method that you could have beaten him was if you bought your gear. Because anything else would be too much to handle.

My favorite is how it seems people can't just accept that sometimes they will lose.

The orochi should have left after the first game.Playng against conq is a very...boring to say the least experience.I'm not sayng that he had a right to call you a p2w dbag(also for the simple raison that it was a duel),but basically any conqueror just turtles and spam shield charge into heavyes for free damage. He and the warlord are the worst enemyes that you can find in duels imo.

Same. I actually got my hand spanked the other day because I grew tired of people messaging me telling me how I lacked honor for throwing them off a cliff or just beating them down and going 16-3 in an Dominion match. This guy sends me a message and I called him a "Female Dog In Heat" and he reported me. I got a 24 hour communication ban from XB. LOL Oh well.

(all from people who just lost I might add).

In my experience duel is the most salt-free gamemode. People sending gg; people asking for a rematch after they lost (asking in a non-rude way, that is); I even had people complimenting me, for good parrying for exmple. Of course there are also people who instantly leave after one lost match but that is ok of course. I barely get any negativity in duels, no matter if the match ended 3-0, 0-3, 3-2 or whatever.

4v4 on the other hand? Everyone shi'ing on everyone.

It seems like a lot of people don't realize that gear states don't apply to duels lol, it's only for looks in duels/brawl.

Maybe he had a badass execution that destroyed the moral of his opponent?
