"Hey guys, how about we play a game of 4v4 Skirmish!" said no player, ever.

As we all know, Skirmish is currently the least popular game type. You might even see a joke or two about it on Reddit. The minions are there seemingly for no reason. Killing them hardly contributes anything to the score or your renown and you'll only see like three of them at a time. As soon as the game starts, everybody darts around in different directions and often the first thing that is asked is "where are they?" Upon getting killed, you start back at your usual spawn and have to sprint all the way back to where you died only to find nobody there and you must again complete another scavenger hunt. It feels very vacant and baron. Reading the description of Skirmish makes one think that the gametype is similar if not the same as Team Deathmatch which is a very popular game type among games. How about we just do that instead?

Random spawn points won't tempt us to run back to where we died and may even make it easier to find enemy players faster.
No minions.
Slightly smaller map. Just block out the normal spawn point area and leave us with the meat of the sandwich to play on.

An 8 player Free-for-All with similar rules if not the same also sounds like a fun idea.

When I hear 'Skirmish' the first thing I think of is Capture the Flag. The maps seem appropriate enough to support such a game type. Each map has three routes. Halo CTF maps often have three routes. Throw some flags in there. The flag barer does not have the ability to sprint. It might have to be debated on whether or not the flag barer has the ability to fight back. I think they could just have the flag mounted on their back like the Samurai. And how fun/cool would it be if polearm classes were able to fight using the flag? Just put a spear tip on the flag pole or something.

There were even more game ideas on Reddit that I thought were good. I think this game has a lot of potential and I would like to see it become an iconic favorite. If only most of us weren't so focused on the faulty P2P system. Yeah, you thought you finally found a thread that didn't mention it. Well, it's just that bad. I have wasted many hours trying to complete 5 out of 5 match orders only to complete 2 out of 8 games in the course of 2-3 hours. It's incredibly frustrating. It's almost unplayable. I want to play this game if only you would let me. Why do you hate me Ubisoft? Why? Is it because I didn't like Assassin's Creed: Unity? I have been a loyal follower since Altair was cool. Y U do dis 2 me?
