I've said this in the Ubisoft survey before the game released, and I will say it again. Why the **** are some characters gender locked? I'm a PK main and I don't want to play as a female. Why the **** is there females to begin with? You want to appeal to the female gamers, which are a minorty among gamers? Fine let them have the female option, but don't ****ing lock it and force me to play as a female. Wasn't it enough that you **** all over the campaign by having those female knights, Vikings and Samurai?
Not wanting to play as a woman does not make someone a misogynist, stop using that word **** head.Originally Posted by Jaessica7 Go to original post
Its actually a "sex" lock. I agree though, I main Nobushi and would just prefer having choice available.
A male Valkyrie wouldn't make sense though.Originally Posted by DannusGreattus Go to original post
Why is there a gender lock? You either put both genders in there or you don't. I don't understand this gender lock crap? I would somewhat understand if it was for historical accuracy, but it's not. I'm a bit triggered because it kind of ruin the experience for me. When I play games that has customization like this; I like to make the character to somewhat represent me.Originally Posted by Eldereth. Go to original post

@Jaessica7 People can have preference as for the gender of the character they play. It doesn't mean they're in some phase or misogynist, and the fact personally you don't mind playing the other gender doesn't mean everyone should share your opinion.
@ghostirq If you don't understand it, it doesn't mean it's crap. It's simply their design choice. Knights in their game made a female-only assassin unit? Okay, why not. It's okay for you to want to play a male peacekeeper, but it's impossible lore-wise. So it's your right to get upset about it, but you gotta still respect their design choices.
Sure. There were female samurai in history (belonging to a samurai line), Joan of Arc, And yes, a Norse woman could wield a sword or spear. Hell, Valkyries are Shield Maidens. Well, I guess a guy could be a Valkyrie; he'd just be considered ergi. (Not that there's anything wrong with that).Originally Posted by ghostirq Go to original post
