Like other people have told you, you're going through the wrong channels to advertise; you have a very little amount of an audience here. Ultimately, I'm sure they are aware of connection issues and the correlation it has to p2p. If players in mass stop playing, including all the ones who don't venture here or elsewhere on the interwebs for the game, then I'm sure it will be handled in either 2 ways. 1: They buy the servers. 2: They don't buy the servers. That will be based off them seeing on their end (the info they rely on) the technical issue, as well as seeing on their side the actual numbers of active players; not a petition.
P2P isn't a civil rights violation or even a minor municipal mixup. It's their system, their setup, their choices, their consequences & their way of handling those consequences. It will either either work out or not. A petition (in comparison to the available network tech info & usage) is less likely to draw further attention to the current concerns present.
P2P is cheap and HIGHLY insecure. The fact that you can use simple programs to sniff network details for all the players in your session, and utilize those apps to lag them out, says everything you need to know about how broken this system is. The simple truth is that dedicated servers would end up costing these companies money that the scumbag investors don't wish to dish out.
Sorry to tell, but your post is quite misinforming. The exact same scenario will only get worse with For Honor's implementation of P2P. Watch this video for futher explanations.Originally Posted by Torstein8 Go to original post
As you can see, the average latency you will achieve at 'For Honor' is around 110ms for a P2P connection between two clients right next to each other (= 1ms distance of each other). Now imagine these clients would be as far away as Canada from Great Britain. A dedicated server would clearly be the better option in your created setting.
This will even get worse if several people are involved (4v4).

Ubisoft may claim that there's no 'host advantage'. The reports of players about getting 100-to-0'ed, teleoporting players, ghost attacks, etc. are speaking a clear language to this subject, though.
Edit:
Some users already stated which security problems Ubisofts P2P implementation creates. You can get the IPs of all the people you're connected with (apparently without encryption, too) and you know which ports are open for the game to run as intended. I can't even imagine a fraction of all the security issues this can lead to. Getting DDoS'ed seems to be one of the least intimidating options, though.
I hear you but it won't hurt to try. That petition will get 1000 votes and sent. These forums have to be seen along with forums for other popular websites complaining about the same thing. It takes 2 seconds to sign the petition and people are doing it so no harm in trying. I love the game when it works proprely and hope it has a long life!Originally Posted by FramboisMan Go to original post

its very obvious for me that the p2p architecture system they have is not working, i have been host so many times now, and i know my internet cant handle that much, and every time i become the host everyone on the server gets thrown out or fail to connect. if i'm lucky i get to complete 50% of the games i enter just because of this host issue,
I agree, P2P has to go. I love this game as well, and P2P putting us at a greater security risk is a problem. It makes me wonder if anyone on my friends list from For Honor is actually trying to steal something from my IP... Add servers, and the option to rent servers, then people can customize matches how they want, and Ubisoft, you will get extra money. I'm not sure if the P2P is responsible for the constant game crashes while I am in a squad of "online friends", but it seems to crash much more frequently hen I am in a group. Please fix this Ubisoft.
Here is another one with 2160+ signs.

I wholeheartedly agree. This game has such massive potential.Originally Posted by weaponx1718 Go to original post
The last hour and a half of me doing great means absolutely nothing in terms of game progression because the game crashed at the very end of 3 dominion matches in a row. I get zero rewards. My time is wasted and my usually calm demeanor is close to imploding into physical rage. FIX THIS GAME. REMOVE P2P. LISTEN TO YOUR PLAYERBASE OR AT LEAST ACKNOWLEDGE ITS A PROBLEM.
