Get servers on for honor or I boycott for honor

https://www.change.org/p/ubisoft-for...edium=copylink. This is how we make changes. This game is so awesome. The game play mechanics and all. Get servers before it's too late

    Informations

the p2p system for honor uses is not that bad. i havent seen cod players scream like babys because they have it too.

BUT! the p2p system for honor uses makes all players to her own hosts so not just one person is a "host" all are. so the ping spread is good, the package loss is good and the connection is good.

if we had a p2p system other games use we would be in much more trouble. if the host of the game would leave we would not get a new one. the game would crash and it would be over.
the ping would be terrible as the package loss would be.

    so lets think about servers.
if we would get servers and you play in lets say canada and you play 1v1 against a person from england. u are lucky and get the server nearest to you. the person in england has a high ping af and packageloss like strupid . the only way to break this down is that you only play lokal and not world wide. so you may have to fight against players much higher or lower mmr like you or you just have to wait 10 minutes for a game.

you have to get some informations about the for honor p2p, other p2p and serversbefore u scream boycott.

it would be much better if we would stay on the p2p but would get servers for matchmaking and like playerbot from ubisoft who hosts the game based on p2p
so if you find a game ubisoft makes a "host-bot" who dosnt play and u cant see him but he is hosten the p2p game. the bot will be consistent and will not leave the game. that way it all will be smooth. no reconnection issues no ping or packageloss issues and no disconnect problems.

I don't have much problems myself. But when the host leaves it glitches the game. Alot of people are complaining and friends are turning away just for the online problems. Other games are worse but when you're a new IP you can't afford the cod problems bc people will buy cod no matter what. Matchmaking is pretty bad too.

it dosnt "glitch" the game. the p2p system just randomly gives the host to another person... thats why there is a bit of time to wait.

this would be fixed with the "host-bot" i talked in my post before

As long as it works. I call moves getting interrupted, people slightly moving to different spots the game slightly freezing for 1 second etc "glitches".

sorry but i have to disagree with you. Their p2p crap has been tested and its not very good. also its a huge security risk as people can see each others WAN address and with the tech we have today, people can do some damage with that information. There's already been reports of people getting ddos'd in a game which is insane, thats just really bad decision making. Secondly, the whole everyone is a host is true in a sense. There is always one person who is actually the session host (the little message you see in match making "you joined xxxx's session") and their architecture has redundency so if someone does disconnect all said "hosts" can be chosen to resume the game. The issue is that this rarely works and causes the game just just error out and boot everyone out of the game. This system also seems to favor those with a ****ty connection so no matter how good your internet speeds are, you are constantly bogged down by people with ****tier connections to "balance" the "host advantage." This is what is peeving everyone because this causes input lag and inconsistent game play between modes. You can see significant differences when playing yourself against Ai and then going to multiplayer and using the same exact timings for parrys or a counter breaks and you consistently miss them. You can't have a game based on reactive play styles on a system that is inconsistent with connections. Having a dedicated server can still have lag yes, but it would be a profound leap in terms of stability from this current architecture that clearly is not working as advertised/ intended. This video explains this concept extremely well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tAU5bIalbnc
lastly your comment about connecting to players world wide, in any game online you ideally want to play against people within your region to not suffer from high ping/ lag and the fact this game doesn't give you the option to region lock, you can have some very laggy matches fighting people in the red when your connection is in the green. you can ask anyone, they would much rather wait a while to match with someone in their region and have a dependable connection rather than wait 20 secs and get connected to someone in Antarctica when you're in America.
