    Counter guard break

    Officially: "Guardbreak Counter (All Heroes):
Currently you can’t counter a guardbreak during a guardbreak attempt. This will be returned to the previous behavior seen in the Beta."

Then why can OTHER people counter MY guard breaks, but I can't counter THEIRS?

This is the single reason I lose fights. I go for a grab, it gets countered, and I get fked. They go for a grab, I can't counter it, I get fked.

Bro, you are just doing it wrong, think about it. So they can always counter yours but you can never counter theirs? This means they got the idea and you don't, research how to counter guardbreaks and you will see how to do it, takes practice thought, just like parrying. I wont list a step by step guide to how because I don't wanna start arguments, since people get way too butthurt when you tell them something they think they know or know but can't time it right, so research it.

Guardbreak Counter (All Heroes): Currently you can’t counter a guardbreak during a guardbreak attempt.

There is literally no way to do it. I fully understand the mechanic, I am not doing it wrong. I can parry, I can deflect, I can dodge. Press the button once when the white shield symbol appears. I do that, but "Guardbreak Counter (All Heroes): Currently you can’t counter a guardbreak during a guardbreak attempt." So it doesn't work. I want to know why this is the official explanation, but that some people can do it while others can't.

And just so it's perfectly clear, you are saying that when I press the GB button as white shield appears (which is when you do it) I am doing it wrong. I've seen the videos, I've seen the step by step guides. I just want it to do what it is supposed to do, and it's not doing it and they've officially posted about it not working but for some reason, somehow, you still think I'm doing it wrong.

    To counter a Guardbreak:
Press your own Guardbreak button the second you hear the sound of them tackling you. Not when you see the symbol.

    I hope it helps.

Note that if your character is in recovery state AKA. you've dodged, attacked or used Guardbreak recently, you can't counter the Guardbreak.

It does so that you have a counter to people constantly dodging.

Tazimus, you have to hit the button to guard break AS SOON AS YOUR OPPONENT TOUCHES YOU. It used to be you hit the button when you see the shield Icon but not anymore. and the announcement they made about it reverting back to the beta is not true. You have to press the button to counter as soon as you get grabbed.
Another thing to note though is that with the P2P bs, you're more likely to miss them because you never know how the connection will be unless you are the host. Host always has advantage with this cruddy architecture Ubi went with, its infuriating in a reaction based game like this. I've done plenty 1v1's and 2v2's and every time I'm the host I can 100% counter guard breaks. When im not host its more like 50/50.

No, you ****ing moron. You hit the button when the shield promt shows up WHICH IS THE MOMENT THEY TOUCH YOU!

I have played all day today, the ONLY reason, LITERALLY THE ONLY REASON I EVER LOSE FIGHTS IS BECAUSE THEY CAN ALWAYS GRAB ME AND I CAN'T COUNTER BECAUSE THE COUNTER SYSTEM IS BROKEN, AS HAS BEEN STATED BY THE DEVS, SO I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT ****.

Also, you have no idea how their p2p system works. There is no host advantage, because it creates what they call a "simulation", basically using all of the players in game to create a virtual server. Before you come here telling me I'm wrong and uneducated, you should probably check to make sure you know wtf you're talking about.
