This is why i always extract in DZ5 in the middle of the street and as soon as I pop a flare I run back down the block a good distance. Wouldn't matter if 20 Hunters spawned at that point nothing a High End M44 won't solve, don't even need to try and dump everything into firearms to damn near OHK a Hunter with that thing.
Had a run a week or so back with a buddy and 2 randoms jumped in on our extraction and I essentially single handedly doubled tapped 3 Hunters back to back and drilled the last Hunter for like 90% of his health bar before the 2 randoms finished it off.
Hunters are super easy to fight once you realize they don't come after you if your like 30m from the extraction, they never advance so you can sit back and just pop em in the face when ever they peek.
Extracted last night, killed my hunter, was waiting for the chopper and 4 more hunters appeared. Killed all 4 in the chokepoint in the stairwell next to the extraction. Never saw any other players and I extracted.
Actually not fussed with being dumped with hunters, just as long as they drop survival caches lol. Sad thing was, not one of them did including mine. Very sad. Especially due to the bosses being killed very quickly so I only had 2 survival caches to extract with.
Exactly I don't know what the problem is, if you can't handle Hunters by now don't play Survival I don't know what else to tell people. Just hang back and don't move into the Extraction Zone until the Helicopter is actually touching down. Only thing I wish is for Hunters to drop Survival Caches, which I find odd that they don't because of them being a significantly higher threat if you don't know how to properly deal with them. Otherwise they are no more difficult that the lvl 28 reds you come across.Originally Posted by i3ig Gun Go to original post
I've played survival several times now and I've started to beat the hunters pretty regularly, they dont seem so tough anymore.
So, i now dont really care if there are multiple hunters. If whoever brings them to me also fights them then by all means, ill help and even share the loot. I however find it annoying when someone comes, spawns their hunters and then sit back waiting for you to kill it and then sneak up and steal the loot. That annoys me.
Last game someone came in, spawned a hunter (i had already killed mine) and then stepped back and waited for me to kill him. Since I had plenty of time to wait (couple of medicine and 15min of time left for the disease) I simply stepped away and waited as well. Eventually the guy got bored and came in to kill the hunter, the way it should work anyway.
Took him a while to kill and he almost died in the process but he eventually did it and we both extracted.
Thats my suggestion to everyone. If someone does this to you, step back and just wait, they will get bored eventually (ofc, this is only if you got time to wait yourself and the will to do it)
What i find most annoying tho (and this is sort of cheating) is when people use maps!! Somehow ppl seem to always find everything on the map. Some might even know the map so well that they just know where everything is which is .. not good. Some randomization should exist imo.
If i spend slightly more time preparing to enter the DZ, ppl that go in first clean up EVERYTHING. I once spent a bit more time than usual in LZ and then entered the DZ and had NOTHING to do. Most landmarks were completed and also pretty much every division tech was gone. Annoying.
I wasn't going to reply here because the OP title is misleading. Spawning additional hunters is a bit of a non issue.
Most of the extracts, whether intentional or not, just running past spawns them so you need to expect additional hunters and deal with it.
If you really end up with soo many hunters it's too risky then back off and go to another extract.
There are many more important issues.

What he doesn't get ( and most likely never will ) that his actions affect others game experience, most play games relax chat to mates and have fun (fun is very subjective in the division). What he is trying to say with his limited vocabulary and grasp on social etiquette (whilst p.ss...g in his own mouth to get some water because that's just what primates do) is "F.. you all as long as he's OK"
