Only the good players appreciate a good driveline. A large Majority of players only care if it looks pretty, sadly.

How do you explain the large number of "MyTracks" in the top rated feeds with hundreds of likes then?

Seriously though, I think both decor/lighting and driving line are important for a top quality custom track. If one of them is lacking then one part of the player base won't appreciate the build as much as the other part of the players. That doesn't mean that driving line only tracks are always bad but to me they will never be comparable in quality to a fully decorated track with good atmosphere and a fun/challenging driving line.

Obviously both are important. But for a different Audience. Where the «real Trialist» prefers a track with a good driveline over a track with a weaker DL an better decideco, the casual Player aims for a nice decoration. For me as a okayish Rider, the harder the driveline is, the better the deco has to be. Because the Harder it is, the longer i have to look at it lol ... This will probably change IF i'll reach a Ninja Level.

Just like the main game tracks, deco and driveline should both be good to enjoy the game. Trials fusion is my first trials game and i lov it because of the gameplay and that we all can use the editor. I'm still learning each time i build.
Just enjoy the game, if i don't like a track i just quit it n try another
