    I played against a warden and a law bringer who attack using the r1 button and then go to gb then back to r1 back to gb over and over. Till they either kill you or you miracle get out of it by chance. Then you have people who can always GBC when you try to guard break. I mean if there isn't some kind of limitation you can just go the whole match GB and GBC lol and that is just very boring.

    If someone is spamming GB, throw out a light. Or even a heavy. GB gets blocked by an attack in progress.

    GB spam is never a thing in the 1v1s I'm in. 95% of the GBs thrown out that aren't guaranteed as part of a parry or are part of a mix-up fail. They failed pre-patch, they fail post-patch, nothing has really changed there.

    This isn't much of an issue at all in my experience.

    Trust me I use that it doesn't always work, and when I say this I usually mean in any game mode. specially in dominion, Elimination and Skirmish. Im reffering to when people actually get a hit, or when the persons gb actually goes throw the light attack then they spam the hell out of it lol

    I know how to play the game, while I dont always get the gbc but even then gbc the whole match gets boring lol

    I agree with both original suggestions the limit to guard break down to 2 or 3 would really separate scrub from skilled player but limiting counter gb is pointless because you don't use it if you are not guard broken plus in team matches a team would spam the gb on one player until he could counter if it were limited as well but the idea is a really good one though I think it would improve the game.

    Guard breaking

    I think guard break reverse is a big problem, some people you cant hit em at all they just reverse everything including the "guard break" which is supposed to be guard breaking not trying to guard break. It's stupid

    But if you need a one button move, because you cannot hit them - the game is broken.

    Fix the core of the game, to change the turtling meta.

    The guard break counter shouldn't get a limit, but do you really wanna have someone guard break counter all your 3 guard breaks?

    Going to be honest your idea is great in theory but heres thr problem itd basically be acting like a third stamina bar. killing the soldiers how would that affect it it would take to long to fill back up. thirdly the problems with guard break is already as follows.

    1. guard break spam
    a. can guard break off parrys
    b. guard breaking can counter dodging

    with the above problems listed and I'm not including the countering guard break as that's going to be fixed witht he upcoming patch ( why isn't it out yet on consoles...) it makes guard breaking an overly used system and can be easily spammed. the problems with it exactly are First off all with Guard break being the counter to dodge it makes absolutely no sense its obsurd and a lackluster of the way guard break is supposed to be used. This also prevents assassins from being able to use there key element in being successful in a fight. Whats that key element you asked why its dodging. Sure you can block, you can parry. But at its core its a broken element. as any and all classes can simply use this to spam guard break. As for guard breaking off parrys that's a bug that was never intended for the game and is already going to be patched.

    Suggestions for fix.
    1. Remove guard break tracking
    Going to be honest whys this even a thing? do the character have little ocular implants that can track the movements of other characters buy every second. I think not. Guard break shouldn't even have a tracking feature. it should simply be put a guard break used when there is an opening to use it.

    2. remove the element of countering dodges with guard breaks.
    Plain and simple and ill state it again. this breaks the core of the game. and breaks what guard break was intended for. as it needlessly allows guard break spam at every turn of the fight. and takes away from the fight of player vs player skill.

    There is no real reason why the guard break should track you, when your using evade it should go to the last known location the other character was before gbing. Also my point on guard break limit was based off the same as narutos substitute bar where you have to wait till it fills up and you have to use them in a smart tactical way and if you use them all then your screwed.

    If GB cannot be used against dodge, there is no reliable counter to dodge. Bad.

    Parry giving a free GB is silly though and should not be a thing. Heavy chip damage on heavy attacks, making parry important to not take damage at all.
