Hi, I'm using a PS4 controller on my PC and I hate using square button to GB. There is a way to change the mapping of the buttons?

I have an Steel Series controller ( xbox style ) and i don't want to use X for guard breaking ... I'm using Steam Big Picture, modified the controller butten in the "manage game" section, and IT DOES NOT CHANGE ANY BUTTON !

I even tried some pre-loaded community configs and it doesnt works neither ... is there anything i can do or is this Ubisoft fault ?

This is annoying, in todays gaming, configurations of control is a default thing, why this is not here? I've downloaded a third party software to change it, and i don't want to use it.

It's funny tho, that i can change the settings, i can do it whatever i like, I can assign any action to any button in Steam Big Picture settings.

I even upload the damn settings and yet .. NOT A SINGLE CHANGE !

In-game, everything is default, just like they want me to play

Is there any solution ? Can someone help us ?

i don't advise to use any 3rd party remapping software. i did and got banned for trying to setup xpadder. i ended up not even using it and just getting used to the controls, however left the software running on my machine (ie. blank profile therefore not changing any conrols). but i got the ban anyways

During in the alpha, R3 click was assigned to GB and it was PERFECT for me


So, I would like to do the same but the instructions in "legacygamepads.ini" doesn't work at all :/


can the devs make something for this ?
Or give us an intelligible instructions please ?

You can remap your Controls via Steam Big Picture...

Comes with some minor control glitches in the menu, but otherwise works like a Blast, now that they fixed the Steam Controller AFK-Kick-Bug.

No, actually is not working. You can remap but it doesnt uploads in the game even if you have steam community logged in.

Dude, I do actually play the game with remapped controls... I use a XBox360 Controller and changed the Settings via Steam: My GB is on LB/L1, my cancel on X and my quickchat on B.

Then you are the only one who managed it. Everyone else is complaining.

You CAN modify but Ubisoft won't accept the changes ingame via Steam Big Picture.

To make a bigger picture... Ubisoft located L1 button as an ... observer ! Who in the first place sets game default L1 as a useless button ?
