Learn to parry and counter guardbrake (note: THIS DOES NOT WORK WITH <50mb connection!!!). I play Lawbringer, so I keep my distance because all the lightattack spamming they do. It works so and so.... the problem is that running away is too ´damn easy in this game and the wbringer is incredibly slow even if it´s a hybrid. I would ask you what character you play? Every hero has their disadvantages and advantages, though some of them are incredibly inbalanced right now
Thank you for the advice. I am currently a rep 3 Warden but the Orochi still gives me knightmares...Originally Posted by MeArney Go to original post
anything specific I can take advantage of from my class I am missing?
I'm a rep 3 peacekeeper and i can't really offer you any help here as to counter him really but i DID get the "Knightmare" pun and it was hilarious so yea ... good luck?Originally Posted by Rocterbox Go to original post
I'm glad you mentioned the Aoe. I wonder if it would interrupt the dodge attack combo. I will have to test this out but it could be a game changer.Originally Posted by iHunny Go to original post
Thanks for your input!
Keep in mind Orochi's favorite moves involve dodging to a side or using storm rush. However these attacks will always attack in the same direction. The dodges being oppisite to the direction he dodges, and storm rush always being the side he faces when he crouches down and holds. As a warden you can use your up light attacks parry feature to negate these attacks for free lights or you can outright parry them for great stam damage and free hits. He also has just less range than you. Keep guardbreak counter handy and use your shoulderbash/shoulder guard break switchups to keep him off balance and guessing what your next move will be once you've landed your light attacks. Its all about reading his plays and looking for patterns. Oh and if he rolls away start sprinting at him, espically in Dominon/Elimination where cowardly running is popular.Originally Posted by Rocterbox Go to original post
Lawbringer's garbage so you'll have to outplay him hard.
As a Warden you should be able to slap his ****. Hold your guard top and zone attack him if he even thinks about getting in range. If he does get in range, use top lights into shoulderbash mixups. Unless he gets very lucky you should come out ahead since your top lights will counter his if the timing's right, and shoulder bash (cancelling into neutral to parry his dodge attack works well) should keep him too low on stamina to abuse his own zone attack.
