Nobushi mains, What works against you?

Teach me how to punish you. What should I look out for? I want to win and you are standing in my way.

should I be playing offensively, or more defensive and reactive?

How do I get your big ugly pole out of my face? What works against you?

All advice and insults are much appreciated!

Nobushi is tricky. She got 2 weakspots, number one is her stamina and the important one is the time she needs to change her guardstance from side to another. Against weaker Nobushis you just need to dash in and spam lights from every side, they just cant block these. Addition to this, you need to learn how to punich her with your hero, after a parry. Usualy you got 2 different kind of parries, aparried lightnobuattack and a parriedheavynobuattack.
Ofcourse knowing her offensiv would help you a lot too.

Thank you for this advice! I didn't know about her guard change, I will try to take advantage of that in the future.

I also didn't know she was so stamina dependent. I will focus on getting a few parries against her and hopefully that will help break her assault a bit.

Lastly, you have taught me I need to play all the heroes so I will know their obvious weaknesses at the very least.

    Thanks for your input!

I find her rather difficult to initiate with in a 1v1 situation, as her first 2 lights are quite slow, where the third one (the one that applies the bleed) is lightning fast, so as long as you can block our lights more often than not, we'll have a lot more trouble getting her bleed damage, as well as getting her kick off to chain in to another combo.

Close the distance. Dont allow me to keep you at a range. Dont use the standard rush attacks either as i am waiting for these and will use the opportunity to either parry you or simply block and dodge away, still leaving you at a distance.

Parrying then closing the distance will screw up most nobushi, even the good ones for a bit. Also try to back them into a corner, a lot of their kit is about punishing enemy mistakes, through parrying and dodging attacks, they can't dodge in a corner.

Use alot of light attacks, as my guard is slower then most, using too many heavy attacks against me will result in multiple parries. Keep a close distance, but be aware i can push back after a light or heavy attack. Keep your guard up, a good Nobushi will punish you with our bleed attack, but it only hits up. Use side step and attack, as i said earlier, our defense side to side is slow. Do not allow others from your team to try and surround us, we will get revenge, and punish with a well timed a.o.e attack. Do not turn your back and run, we are faster, and we have range. We are especially vulnerable after a well timed parry, take advantage of this. Keep an eye out for our light/light/light to a kick combo, always be ready to side step after third attack. This should for now, hope to see you on the field to test your skill.
