Knight with a one handed warhammer.
Viking with an atgeir (a glaive, basically).
Samurai with a kusari (chain weapon).
I especially want a lucerne or warhammer, because they're my favorite kind of weapon and nobody ever puts them in games. And if they do, the moveset gets completely wrecked because nobody understands how to use it.
In terms of new classes the only stuff that really fits into the previous factions are ninja. A greatsword wielding knight would work, and a warhammer using knight would work, but those would start creeping in on the look that the warden and the conquerer use. Even the roman legion is going to look funny in the group of knights, and most of the suggestions on this thread would never historically match the class they are meant to fit into.
They cant just add a new faction and only have it use 1 class at first, because they would need to spend 2 seasons providing more classes to that faction for it to be full
...why do they need to add new factions? why not just have these characters as indifferent individuals? something akin to mercenaries thatll fight for the highest bidder. That could fit the lore AND allow them to implement more unique-looking designs.
Otherwise we'll either have characters that look nothing like their faction or who resemble characters we already have.
