    DLC characters wanted?

I know there was some threads before the game released about hopeful additions to the roster. Now that everyone is enjoying the game what class or characters would you like to see added? If you had a class prior to release in mind has it changed after playing the game?

Personally would love to see a Spartan, however I know the general move set would be probaby to similar to a Valkyrie to be worth the addition. Thoughts anyone?

Knights need a class that uses a greatsword. I love using greatswords, and the historical tweaking of weapons would make them fine in a close quarters combat situation. It looks like we have the roman legion coming to the game in the future which will look a bit too much like a spartan. The ninja also seems to be coming along but those 2 are the only 2 that seem obvious from the season pass page. Anyone else I can think of seems like they wouldn't fit into the 3 factions. What comes to mind is a more of a tribal faction of native americans or zulu warriors, which would never have a hope of fitting into even vikings being their closest relation in the game.

Great sword would be cool, I think a three section staff would be fun if they could make the playstyle fluid enough to represent the weapon properly.

    My wishlist is pretty small.

I would like an Egyptian Khopesh wielder.

Chinese weapons are fun in general, along with some having styles almost like a dance. Of preference would be someone with a staff or a Dao.

A fully dedicated ranged character would be interesting, though probably meta breaking. Perhaps something pirate like would work, with certain combos using a pistol for low damage at mid range. I could see a throw follow up being a pistol shot. And yes, the game does indeed have gunpowder. The Samurai faction has signal flares, showing the tech for powder does exist, along with the knowledge to make colored flares. I'm not necessarily saying a pirate is the best candidate for the theme, but something combining close and medium range. I still want someone with range aside from just having a longer weapon or a feat.

My personal, #1 wish is a fencer. Give him a saber and make him a lighter version of the LB. Basically relies on parries and light attacks to fight, with decent mobility. Probably next to no health though.

I also wouldn't mind a character based on grappling and fist fighting. Not sure how they would work, but it would be interesting.

I'd rather have no DLC characters at all. There are already 12 very different characters with very different playstyles. Adding more detracts from the ability to maintain a balanced and level playing field between all of them. Also would greatly prefer not to have to pay for a brokenly overpowered new character in order to be competitive.

I was thinking about a monk styled fighter that used hand to hand combat, or those half moon shaped blades that are ofter dual wielded ( forgot the name sorry). Good suggestions all around though.

All DLC characters and maps are to be released free. You will just have to pay to unlock them in game with steel. WHat the steel cost will be nobody but Ubi knows, but you won't HAVE to pay with real world currency.

Intersting alternative Karfuss, what would you recommend to help the longevity of the game, besides balances and bug repairs? Maps? Modes? Story? Genuinely curious.

Any DLC heroes don't necessarily have to be a Knight, Viking or Samurai. They could just include an additional faction slot for new heroes.
