    executions on tripped players

I think it's a real bummer that tripped players can not be executed. IE: valk trips someone -> heavy attacks -> kills with heavy -> no execution. The same is true of conq after he dashing shield tackles someone onto the ground. Executions are by far one of the coolest things in this game and I need more of them. I would love an entirely new set of executions for downed enemies, but because that won't happen, at least give the classes who can trip a special execution for tripped enemies.... or just find a way to make regular ones work, whatever.

This is also true for any character who throws an out of stamina opponent into a heavy. I'd really like to still be able to execute an enemy in the downed condition.

I see potential for ground executions in the future. Would be fun man

Sounds like a nice idea (especially considering that some execution animations require you to topple the enemy before actually executing them, e.g. the Conquerors flail smash to the head)

After reading this suggestion, it actually seems amazing that the devs didn't think of it, considering that executions impact gameplay and aren't just gore porn.

Right. They are actually extremely important in 4v4 modes. Some characters really rely on getting a trip into an execution too.

As far as actual 'downed' executions go, I think it might be cool to have a grace period where a downed player can not be executed. Say something like 20-30 seconds. Let's be real, a minute is already an incredibly generous amount of time (and probably too much time) for the bleed out phase. I would think it cool that if after 20-30 seconds a downed enemy becomes executable. This way you can camp your downed enemy for a little while and then finish them, instead of having to camp them for a full minute if you failed to execute earlier.
