Account Reputation Vs Character Reputation. Scavanger Boxes | Forums

I heard people start getting purple gear at reputation 3, but I've also seen players at reputation 2 with purple gear scores. Does anyone know exactly when heroic items drops.

Also is it based on character reputation or account reputation. For example I have a reputation 2 warlord and a reputation 2 lawbringer. Do I start receiving heroic items?

Heroic items are indeed rep 3, but at rep 1 if you have enough salvage and steel (presumably from another character you leveled in the same salvage faction) you can power level those rank 7's to rank 12, which will get you a purple score.
