    [Bugs] The bug plethora

    So the game has launched! We're all excited. However the transition from Open Beta to Launch has been anything but smooth. Bugs are riddled, glitches have been found and things are on fire. Please feel free to use this thread to report bugs with a format similar to mine or one of your own. Reporting something with no details helps your problem and others in 0 ways.

    A little about me: I'm a 2016 Ubisoft Star Player who has been reporting bugs unprofessionally for a very long time. I've done huge lists for every single test that For Honor has had. My goal is to help smooth this game out enough so everyone can have a great time.

    As of 2/22/2017 I'm sitting on about 8 bugs that I need to video for replication assistance. I'll be providing one tonight so that others can help post issues in the game.

    [PC] General - When the Zerker does his zone attack at a far locked target, sometimes the Zerker will stay in one place. Meanwhile the locked on target will flinch as if they're blocking the zone attack
    Reproduction rate:

    Bug Types -
    Animation & Gameplay
    Character(s): Berserker
    This can started near or far a locked on target, if the target slips out of range of the Zerker's Zone Attack an animation will play for the locked on player character. Meanwhile the Berzerker will stay essentially in one spot, spinning.

    Replicate:
    Start a match of Dominion
    Select the Berzerker character
    While in close proximity of an enemy, lock in.
    Zone attack the target with them at a slight range
    Their character will be knocked away from the Zerker after a hit or two, prompting the animation of the enemy player character
    The Zerker should be stuck in place spinning.

    Please see attached media for temporary media. It does not display the enemy animation flinching while out of range.

    [PC] General - When the player has an enemy locked on in a 2/3/4 versus them situation and blocks another player without breaking lock, if the locked on enemy player moves anywhere close by behind the Zerker while they forward Zone Attack prompts in the animation swinging forward but travels sideways / backwards to hit the locked on target.

    Bug Types - Gameplay & Animation
    Character - Berserker

    When in a 2/3/4 versus the player (Berserker) situation, if the Berserker blocks an external hit and zone attacks. If the targeted enemy player is behind the Berserker, the forward Zone Attack animation will play, however the movement will go sideways and or backwards.


    Reproduction steps:
    Load a match other than Duel
    Have two enemy players nearby
    Lock on to one player
    Block the other player while keeping your lock on the other, have the targeted player move behind the Berserker WHILE the block animation is playing
    Zone attack on the Berserker after the block animation just finishes

    The idea of the this thread is the best I've seen on this forum so far.

    However, I think a couple of changes are required so this could work as intended:
    - a proper name for the thread (something relevant for the topic, not as it is in its current state);
    - the removal of the PC platform tag from the title (this should imitate a general bugs base where people will specify within their messages on which platform a specific issue has occurred); EDIT: To clarify it, I believe it's useless to keep track of three different threads, each one for a specific platform and, as of now, they are not even there.
    - an improved pattern (severity, probability and workarounds - if it is the case - should be mentioned as well).

    Let me know what you think about it.

    There ya go. The name 'Rukio's Bug Plethora' is a long time running name since the very first test but I'll gladly alter it slightly to show other people are welcome to report bugs.

    Adding on severity is up to the person. Work arounds I assumed would be common sense but that's my fault. It's good to leave no room for questions. When I get home I'll add a basic format for people to use.

    EDIT: I editted everything but it didn't go through for some reason? Not sure what else I can do.

    [PC] General - Logging into the game with extra gear in your inventory will continuously put an exclamation point on it as if it was new.

    GUI
    If the player has extra gear in their inventory, aka not the ones equipped, upon relogging the extra unequipped items will display an exclamation mark every time.


    Reproduction steps:
    Have items in your inventory that aren't equipped
    Launch Title
    Maneuver to your characters Inventory

    Correction.Going into a match and coming out will make the exclamation point show up.

    The workarounds are not common sense in some specific situations and that will be shown in the bug I will submit in a few moments on your thread. I expected you knew that though, given your CV.

    Platform: PlayStation 4 (although it requires testing on all)
    Issue Type: Black Screen
    Severity: 1
    Probability: 2
    Repro Rate: 3/5

    The black screen occurs under the following conditions: P1 hosts a session and P2 joins (where P stands for player). P1 hosts any match along with P2. Once the match is over, P1 quits to main menu and IMMEDIATELY starts another match. P2 will be in a black screen for the duration of the session, whether the match starts or even ends, until restarting the game.

    Workaround:
    1. In order to avoid the issue, give it a couple of seconds after leaving a match to main menu before starting another one.
    2. If P2 signals the black screen occurrence in time, it is possible to restore to normal if P1 backs out of the matchmaking.

    Note: Starting a match too soon after quitting to main menu will send a warning to the host that the group may not be able to join -- therefore if the hosts immediately backs out and starts the match again, it results in the same issue for the joined player.

    Please, take into consideration this issue by testing and fixing it so that the players base may have a better gaming experience at the end of the day. I appreciate!
