This game is about realism, isn't it? Then having revive during elimination matches makes absolutely zero sense. Just ruins the fun out of the game. Countless times have I beaten 2 opponents, and then because my teammates are imbecilic monkeys and don't cover corpses, suddenly I am 1v4. Freaking stupid and unfair.

Personally, I Disagree with you here, If you wish to prevent the revive you can always go for an execution which includes throwing them off the map if this is viable. Additionally, you can guard the downed enemies preventing revives, or focus on revving teammates as your opponents do so. When there's a mechanic that allows you to prevent revives i don't see a problem with it.

There is a way to make the revive impossible. Learn to execute your ennemy instead to simply "kill" them, or try to keep your watch on a corpse : These aspects are as important as be able to beat your opponent. I think it's pretty cool to have these mechanics running in 4v4 because it forces player to consider more than just "4 person making duels in 4 corners of a vast map"

I know you can prevent it from happening, but let's be honest, you can't always secure an execute or throw off something. It's just not fair, because you work sometimes hard to put someone down, only for him to be revived along with the rest of his team. It's freaking unfair.

It's on you that you failed to execute and or watch over the corpse that you failed to execute.

You can make the argument that there should be reviving, he should make sure to execute, etc. etc.

Even so, the state of revive as it is currently implemented is pretty cancer. One second or less to pull another player back into the fight at full health? Come on.

My opinion:

I think revive work good and force me to use fatality instead just simple light attack kill. With some modifications it will be good:

1) Revive shoul take longer (around 5 - 8 seconds).
2) Revived player should have just 50% health and zero stamina
3) If you are killed after revive, you can not be revived once more

... at this moment, if you have just 1 bar left, it is better to be killed by teammate and revived into full health - which is stupid.

You guys are only thinking on the 1v1 part, yeah you can force execute there, but when the roaming starts, you're 1v2, 1v3, 2v3, ressurection makes almost impossible to win, even if you outplay and kill several of the enemies.

Of course just removing reviving isn't good, but there should be a limit or cooldown.

Its why only ******s play this game mode and the rest of us are forced to with orders. The game mode is where all the idiots gather and it's by far the most toxic game mode. The reason is power ups and revive but really those two things are a pest to the entire game. People who say just execute are complete ******s who probably suck at the game. The problem with revive is when you are up against several opponents. It makes it impossible to win since people just revive all the time even if you get a kill. Revive ruinsso many cool end game figts in dominion because of this and it rujns the entire mode in Elimination which would be a really cool mode if it was true last man standing without revive and power ups.
