So I just realised that in 2006 / 7, Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter forced you to play as a non-customisable character whilst Rainbow six: Vegas gave you almost full freedom to customise your character. 10 years later and the formula has been flipped! Rainbow six: seige is a hero class shooter that forces you to play as a set character (with dismal ascetic customisation) and Ghost Recon: wildlands gives us a superior character customisation suite with almost full freedom.
I can only hope that if Michael Ironsides does not reprise the role of Sam Fisher, the next Splinter Cell will give us a custom character build option.
