    Lawbringer needs a total rework

    Embarrassing to say the least, that after all the hype for this character and all the tech tests Ubisoft did, this guy is so laughingly useless against anyone who can play the game. If you connect a combo, that player is trash, easily parried, effortlessly so. His counter attacks, one of his supposed "strengths" are the worst in the game, you can get a light, for next to no damage, or go for a heavy to give away a free parry to your opponent. The block into push to drain stamina is all you can do with him now to try and win a fight against a non garbage player. And even then they will stop attacking you. The only way to get any damage is parry, into guardbreak, and every character can do that, and seeing as he changes stances so slow, he is even worse at that than anybody else, but maybe shugoki, who's strengths make up for it. Everything he can do, just about anyone else can do better, with less effort. A buff, isn't enough to make this character good, his kit needs to be completely reworked, right down to his stance, his combos, his counters, everything he can do. Laugahably bad, totally dropped the ball on this character. I'm a dedicated main of this hero, because I love the way he is supposed to work, but right now he is a noob stomper character, and plenty of other hero's can do that better than he can too.

    I sincerely hope you understand the difference between parrying heavy and parrying light attacks, as he can use anything in his kit for guaranteed damage after a light attack parry, including both his overhead unblockable and his impaling charge. Both of these can be use to deal almost half of an opponent's health.

    I'm not trying to criticize just because you're obviously concerned for the health of the character in the game, but I'm trying to understand how much you've actually tried to do on him. He's pretty difficult to learn but once you get really good at parrying light attacks, you can scare the crap out of your opponent and make them afraid to attack you.

    He is my main and I've spent a stupid amount of time with him. The facts are he is phenomenal in 4v4 matches because of his CC abilities, support from other teammates, and gear to make up for what he lacks. Stam is a huge issue with him as he seems to have virtually none. That said the OP is right, against anyone half decent in a 1v1 he is gutter tier. He is so slow that you can literally walk out of the way. Anyone that can block, dodge, or god forbid parry correctly (one parry and all our stam is gone, literally) his whole damage kit is useless. I can and have outplayed people in every way and still lose because I simply cant land a goddam thing or I eat up my stam trying to provide pressure only to end up laying on the ground unable to do anything getting beaten to death. You can land light attacks on occasion which are beyond useless as they do almost zero damage. If you miss a block forget about being able to switch guard sides to catch the next one in most cases as switching stances is stupid slow.

    I'm with the OP here. He is my main and I continue to play him as I love the way that he is supposed to work, but he doesn't work and needs some serious adjustment somewhere. I don't know that he needs a complete rework but he needs some serious help. Right now he is not even a mid tier character against competitive players.

    I'd say to check out this reddit post for all of his drawbacks that make him less viable than other characters. I am Rep 5 on Lawbringer, on Xbox 1, and rep 2 on PC. You can say I've been around the block with this character a few times, and don't play against noobs anymore. This character is a nefarious noob stomper. Noobs who get scared and sit like a deer in headlights when you do an unblockable, and don't know how to counter guard or block the charging attack get DESTROYED by Lawbringer. However, at high level play, all of your attacks are dodged and parried more easily than any other character's. Not to mention, he is a "COUNTERATTACK" Class, and none of his counterattacks after parries will hit except for the light parry riposte. Every single other riposte can be blocked, dodged, or parried, making his reliance on parries almost utterly useless.

    Yea exactly the issue. And we don't even hit hard enough to make it worth the risk or even to make anyone fear us or our supposedly phenomenal heavies. Not that we could land them anyway. I'm rep 6 on mine on xbox

    Even with a damage buff, we are still not viable at all, what is the point of having more damage if you can't hit anything?

    Lawbringer just needs faster stance change. With that, everything else becomes much easier.

    Well here's the thing, if some of his attacks are fixed to make it so our skill with parries are rewarded, we finally become the viable class that the kit was meant for, counter attacking. As of right now we only have ONE guaranteed hit counterattack... And it only does something like 15-20 damage. if that is the only attack that gets a damage buff then that will be the only thing that gets used. So they should fix his attack speeds or rather, make it so that his parries are more viable, or make SOMETHING with his kit viable. As OP stated, Lawbringer needs a total rework to be more balanced. Right now he's not viable in anything but a gank situation, but then again, if you have enough people beating down on one character, anything becomes viable.

    I bought the game solely cause of the appeal of this class, its utterly frustrating to see ho unpolished and mediocre it is to play it, considering to refund the game cause i cannot find any joy in it.
