Unable to load multiplayer rewards and PvP

I can access the multiplayer menu, but I cannot find anyone else to play with. I can sit there searching for ages, but nothing happens.
When I finish a Player vs. AI battle, it will load the rewards for about 15 seconds, and then a message will pop up saying "We're sorry, but our servers are taking longer to respond than anticipated. Your rewards will be added automatically when the response comes in." Well apparently the response hasn't come in at all, because I haven't gained a single point of experience on any characters, nor have I acquired steel or items.

I have tried turning off my firewall, as well as uninstalling my antivirus software, but nothing happens. It also doesn't matter if I'm on my own network or someone else's - it must be an issue with my pc as far as I can tell.

    Any suggestions are appreciated.

    Hello!

I had the same problem yesterday. It seems to be related to your NAT type connection. I had to enable some ports on my router and to bypass For Honor and Uplay by my firewall. There is a guide about how to improve your connection. It worked for me and now I can play with another people since i have Nat type OPEN now.

Also, there is a link that I followed (inside this guide) that teached me how to port forward in my router. Very useful.

    Good luck!

I have tried port forwarding, but it hasnt helped me at all.
It appears that my computer isnt recieving any data from those ports. Nothing shows up / still nothing happens.

Next I will probably attempt getting a unique IP address for my pc..

Still, if anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.

I managed to play a multiplayer game by connecting to the internet via an old portable internet usb, which works with a mobile sim card. Though oddly opening a mobile hotspot doesn't work.

Edit: I just launched For Honor while on normal network, under no special condition, and somehow I had moderate NAT, and was able to play versus other players. Sadly my game crashed before the game started due to a screendriver crash.. When I restarted the game, I had NAT type: unknown once again..

I've managed to come up with a temporary solution.

    1. Connect to a mobile hotspot
    2. Launch For Honor
    3. Go into multiplayer and search for a game
    4. Disconnect from the mobile hotspot, and connect to your prefered network

When the game reloads, I am able to play with a NAT type: Open.
