Let's face it. Feats are not balanced for an elimination type setting.
In Dominion if Orochi snipes you from half way across the map while you are at full sprint and you get no indicator against it... it is annoying... but it doesn't typically win you or lose you the game.
In elimination when this happens... you just lost your only life for that round. To a near instant speed, targeted, ranged ability that really doesn't have that long of a CD (especially with the right gear).
The feats are not balanced with the idea of 1v1 situations or with the idea of "no respawn".
So why the f**k are they in elimiination?
Skirmish is a little more understandable. Dominion is fine.
But the feats available to a class basically determine that class's viability in this format.
It needs changed immediately.
Or at the very least give us the option to que for a "no-feats" version of elimination separately so that all the orochi players can go play by themselves and the rest of us can actually have a real competitive experience as promised.
I agree. Eliminations is a broken gamemode with the inclusion of feats and powerups and gear as well. those 3 things need to go. Your entire goal is to eliminate the team as quickly as possible, and the second you give people abilities that kill at the press of a button, or buffs that render them 2-5x stronger than their oponnent is the second this mode becomes broken.
in short, When you objective is to kill the enemy team and only that, providing unfair advantages doesnt make for a fun time.
