As the title suggests I've saved up about 10k in steel and currently have 12 boxes. I'm nearing rep lvl 2. I'm sure by now that there are those at a rep+5 by now.

When would it be best to start using my resources?

Also, is it worth it to get executions or get to ilvl 108 first?

Any help is always appreciated.

Get rep 3 and then spend the boxes to get heroics.

Rep 3 is when you should start on the gear. And if you plan on playing lots of 4v4 then I'd personally go for the gear rather than the executions/cosmetics. It's better to keep up with other players gear wise as to not just get annihilated by those with high gear score.

Not all of it because you need some to level up the gear.

How on earth did you get so many boxes? Am I missing something? I earned 2 by playing the story and that's it, where else can I get them from?

Try and break as many breakables as you can. Think I finished with 10 or so.
