Also try using the link I posted above on the 15 line of drivers. Seems the game is asking for that. 15.36.33.4578 is newest there.

Also you probably need to make sure the game is launching on the radeon.
Huh. So until you pointed it out I didn't notice, but I double-checked and the newest drivers for my card (15.33) are recognized by the game as what you see in the picture there (15.26). This may or may not be what is causing the issue.

I also tried the 10.18.10.4491 drivers, to no avail.

I'll try using the newest drivers from the link you posted, but they're for HD4600 and not HD4000, so I doubt it'll work. [Edit] Tried it, didn't allow me to install for obvious reasons.

And of course I've forced the game to use the Radeon in the AMD settings. No help there.

Same problem as everybody on this thread, game was working perfectly fine (30-40fps avg) and now i got that error message telling me i need the "15.36" intel HD driver after the hotfix.

But my intel HD 4400 drivers are not updatable since I can't override my HP's constructor intel HD drivers (locked in 10.18.4578 for stability purpose, damn you HP).
Tried to install the new driver manually with the device manager but it won't work.

So i'm basicaly ****ed by both HP and Ubisoft .... Why so much hate ?

Can ubisoft give us a reason for this ?
Also, the changelog stated this : "A message will now be displayed on BOOT if Intel GPU driver is below min specs", which obviously is the problem we are facing with the new hotfix, but it does not state people below the minspec won't be able to start the game at all, it's only supposed to be warning message and not an error message, why the **** ?

I mean, i've been able to play the close and open beta without a single problem, performance wise, and now that i bought the game i just can't play it ? That's ridiculous ...
Can't even play the solo campaign, would fps drops bother the AI or what ?

Can't they just undo that part of the hotfix ?

    Sorry if I misspelled anything
    Thanks a lot, good day
You can bypass that lock. Here is a link, I did everything as it was there and it worked to update the driver. However, I still get the error.

I am also having this same problem

I am also experiencing this same problem after today's patch.
I was able to play for honor until yesterday and when the fix came today, couldn't play anymore.

I have updated all my driviers but it still says 'please update your driver' upon start and won't let me go into the game.
    wtf

I get the message to update my internal graphics card, which I updated,
so when I turn my internal graphics off which makes it force run through my external graphics, it says my graphics doesn't meet the minimum requrement for playing which is ******** cause I play on a good gaming laptop with good graphics.

I have been playing for the past few days but this might be the end I guess

Got to love those fixes that make new problems. They really should have added a launch game anyway function!

This might help everybody who owns a notebook with multiple GPUs:

Delete My Documents/My Games/For Honor/Options.ini and try again.

You can also force the game to start on a specific "adapter" (GPU) by using the /gfxadapter:[number] command line option, where [number] is the index of the GPU to use.
    Sample: forhonor.exe /gfxadapter:1

Please let us know if this helps.

@BRolf02: Sadly, neither option helped me. Tried adapter indices from 0 to 3 just to cover all bases, no dice. Same with deleting the options file.

I'm just dropping by to the thread to say that I am also having this problem, I have tried a driver update but to no avail. Has anyone on the thread contacted Ubisoft support about this issue?

The problem is that ubisoft thinks the driver version is 15.26 (or higher) but thats just the number intel gave the package which contains graphics and audio drivers, the actual graphics driver is 10.XX and the audio driver is 6.X

    Fix the hotfix ubisoft!!!!

Please try to install 15.45.4542. This seems to be the lowest supported driver version. But it might be Intel HD 5XX exclusive.
