As of right now iam 99% certain that several heroes gets their combo interrupted when the hit(their light hit) gets blocked by many heroes, and not just the heroes with shields.
Can someone please verify this and maybe even stream it for real "proof".

Correct, its a game mechanik.

If you block light attacks it interrupts the combo flow. Except for Shugoki in uninterruptable stance
