But people are extremely irritable, picky, judgemental and hard to please these days when it comes to ANY game. It's not so much a knock on gamers today, but the difference in taste and opinions these days are so varied to the point there are a ton of constant angry people nowadays. Even the games that in the past were universally liked for the most part have people with polar opposite opinions on some of the current sequels. Elder Scrolls, Fallout and Metal Gear Solid comes to mind. It doesn't even matter if you're a fan of Ghost Recon because you still may not like this game. So like others have said you really have to try it out for yourself. It's hard to suggest anything to anyone these days without quizzing the person first on all their likes and dislikes first.

I always enjoyed all the Ghost Recon games and I love how it evolved into this. My wife and brother in law had a ton of fun in the closed beta and we are looking forward to the completed game for sure. There seems to be a ton of content to get through so I know we will be playing it for awhile. I know they will continue to work on the game for awhile so it will only get better.
Amen to this. I had a blast with the Closed Beta, yes, there were issues -- but for me, they didn't detract from what I enjoyed really. I have a bunch of friends who will be playing this game, so I'll be able to get some good co-op going.

I have to say I really enjoyed the closed beta, and the game was a joy to play. I am looking forward to getting back in again at the weekend. I've already pre-ordered and preloaded from Xbox Live, so I am definitely in. But as some of the other posts have said, check it out. this is a great opportunity to play the game before release, and see if you like it.

That was an "interesting" incident. I'm having second thoughts about getting into a chopper again with you at the controls

I presumed it was a Santa Blanca anti-theft device, aka: the remote orbit initiated wtf control.
