I just posted the same video in another thread, lol. It's an instant classic, to be sure!

Hopefully 2017 will finally happen in the ubisoft household.

Yeah have noticed on PS4 and reported several people. I also know a lag switch when I see one, comepared to a simple poor connection. Just report everyone skipping about, because I have played with americans, and I'm from Europe, and there were not a single connection issue - gameplay and connectivity was silky smooth. A lot of the issues we see with matchmaking, losing connection and lag is caused by cheaters.

Thankfully wildlands can be single player...this constant getting kicked and losing exp is already old.. (already did campaign sooo can't get anything more from there that'll transfer to multiplayer)

Edit: Atleast let us do a 4v4 dominion vs ai by ourselves and still get rewards ; however boring it might be it's better than "constant" network errors and lag

So, I ****ing hate Ubisoft, Uplay, and haven't purchased a single game with them since Assassin's Creed 1. That being said, I played the open beta, highly enjoyed it, and got the game on release. Its great. I've never had anyone teleport behind me. I've never been attacked by an invisible person. Yes, those things exist, but not to the extent that this video would like you to believe.

Cheaters and lag switchers aren't running rampant in every match, all the time. 99% of the time you get the exact quality experience that Ubisoft (who I ****ing hate because they ruin everything) promised. EVERY game has cheaters/exploits/bugs/connection issues. You guys are just blind because you HATE Ubisoft (as do I) so you'll do ANYTHING to make them look bad.

Give credit where it is due: This game rocks and Ubisoft finally released a good product. Go ***c yourselves.

I've spent about 40 or so hours playing so far, and I've seen:

1 person start to jump around before they completely disconnected.
A small handful of games error out mid-game.
1 time where someone left at a really inopportune time and it most likely caused my death due to interrupting the flow with a resync screen.

Maybe this is a much bigger issue on consoles, but people are expecting living room quality multiplayer over the Internet. What can you even do on a netcode side about a lag switch? Hacks, cheats, and exploits are always going to be a thing, especially right after a game releases when people can maximize the "troll" of it.

Also, why do people think dedicated servers are the wave of the future? Does anyone even have an inkling of what a dedicated server architecture would look like for a game like For Honor, and how it might impact the game as a whole? I'd be curious to hear how people think it would work.

So far, my experience in the game has been surprisingly fluid. It really has felt as living room as I can possibly imagine an online game feeling, and for something as twitch reflex as For Honor, that's pretty impressive.
