    Is this game for me?

Just logged off, so frustrated at realizing that so much of the game is effectively out of bounds for me, I mean, I can visit locations, try and play, but if I do not have the right set up fun in most locations is off the cards! I invest in the hope of a worthy return on that investment, but, sadly, that is not happening. Got the game for Christmas, 20days of play to date, two agents at 30, done the research, done the grind, so I feel I have tried. Popped into DZ5 tonight (that was pointless, as usual) and suddenly realized how much of my time and effort I am being asked to put in in order to 'possibly' get gear that 'might' be of use, in the right configuration 'if I am lucky' enough to come across it in an endless journey to find it! How much spare time do you think people have? And even then, that configuration might only be of any use in one or two scenarios...if I am lucky..! You have built a giant of a beast with so much potential and I know 1.6 is (?) coming, but for me the issue is the grind, I also want to have fun, and be able to compete in the DZ and be able to feel it is worth trying to stand my ground in PVP etc Not feel this is all a pointless waste of time as it will never happen -]I feel relegated to a low tier low level gaming experience, and penalized for not getting the game when it came out . A more level playing field would be fun, as it stands, for me, that hope is far far away! I own the game, it has some fun parts, some great parts and I have been with you guys from way back, but this game - you ask for way to much from a gamer and give so little! Make it easier for people to compete and have fun in game, I am sure your sales would pick up - I hear the best ideas are often the simplest!

We're still sitting on the edge of our seats waiting for the Division to "Git Gud" thus far it's still lacking mightily.

Last Stand will be better for you with the normalized gear. A couple more weeks.

    But I am looking elsewhere.

    Andromeda for sure.
I'm waiting to see how they implement PvP in Wildlands. Already cancelled the pre-order after hearing about the PvP.

Deleted TD last week to make room for Horizon Zero Dawn and possibly Wildlands after its out for a month or so. Will continue to keep tabs on TD ( Just a quick download away to comeback ) but the current content is no longer interesting so regrinding gear is just pointless and no longer fun. It was a fun game as well as frustrating at times but with no interest in last stand its just time to join the rest of my friends list and happily move on to a ton of other games new and old alike.

This game is not worth the time or money. Once they fulfill their season pass obligations it will go into the toilet. Massive is just clueless. .

I just got that feeling that this is exactly what is going to happen that's why they are trying to ruin the game with this 1.6 patch.

Indentation MAN. INDENTATION. Wall of text indeed.

Some of your statements are a bit groundless mate.

Not true. Takes a few hours once you hit 30 to get a good build together which can compete in the DZ. So if you are being outplayed that's exactly the thing, out-played. Some players out there are better at this game than you, nothing to do with gear.

Perhaps you could elaborate here? I mean, surely you are not referring to any PVE stuff in the game? Most (ALL) PVE endgame can be completed with purples if you know which end of the weapon to point at mobs.

Last Stand bring normalized stats (sadly IMO, but that's a different matter). So there's your level playing field.

You just said the game was all about skill, not gear... then you completely contradict yourself by saying gear normalization adds an even playing field. what the hell?
