But saying the game is balanced, more sound like a Trumph statement.

The balance obviously isn't perfect but to say that its very unbalanced is false. If the balance was as abysmal as people make it out to be then The Conqueror would have never found itself in the finals of a tournament.

Conqueror is very strong, it wasn't hard to take him to finals.

one question tho why does everyone call counter GB tech GB? what does tech mean?
It's fighting game jargon. Referring to technical moves, like throws (things that are not straight forward damage attacks, but instead setup attacks or re-positioning the opponent).

None of that data is even official and it seems to all be based on qualitative survey of people...

In short, it's a flawed analysis based on a flawed subset of data.

People don't understand the game yet.
They are probably used of WoW arena and now they mirror their experience to For Honor.

    This is just my opinion..

Most nerf crying is just that -- crying. The problems are usually player skill, ego, and latency.

That being said -- there ARE legitimate balance concerns and they should not all be ignored with a simple "salt" decry.

Sadly, a lot of you are on an equally toxic end of the spectrum - The one where you scream "git gud" and throw tantrums at the slightest hint that the game isn't perfectly balanced. Even the vague implication your win wasn't entirely based on your skill is enough to start yet another thread condemning anyone with a suggestion for change.

Because it's absolutely ridiculous to be asking for balance changes without any major tournament results. Regardless of the side of the argument you're on, all you have is your suspicions and personnal experience. If Warden is as busted as people keep saying he is, the first FH major results are going to be like 1. Warden 2. Warden 3. Warden etc. So far casual tournament results simply confirm he's "up there", but other classes have proven to be extremely competitive too. So the actual basis for demanding nerfs or buffs is just *farting sounds* and theorycrafting. Nothing less, nothing more.

Ever read "Playing to Win" by Sirlin? I suggest you familiarize yourselves with what he had to say about this entire "nerf-buff" clown fiesta and the issue of balancing fighting games in general. If you keep changing stuff around 24/7 nobody's going to learn the intricacies of the game, ever. The saddest part is that Ubi has already caved in and modified several characters for literally no reason other than pure conjecture. If they keep doing that, I'm going to drop this game with the force of a thousand suns regardless of how good the basic gameplay is, because I don't want to relive the absolute nightmare of having several of my mains literally axed from the game in League of Legends (which essentially morphs into a different, usually worse version of itself every few patches).

So yeah, if something isn't working as intended or is obviously broken - fix it, but for god's sake leave balance alone until we break the game down. It's downright shameful to have so-called experts (and even veteran fighting game players) talking about an "unreactable" Warden overhead - and then it turns out that it's just a standard 15 frame move that's available to 8 out of 12 characters.

I could live with a single big patch that fixes several obvious issues (endless keep-away game on some maps - running from a fight shouldn't be an option) or even a single balance pass, but let's face it - you people aren't ever going to stop. Something's always gonna be "too OP" for ya and you're going to do everything in your power to make the entire For Honor ride miserable for all the people that'd rather focus on finding new tech instead of moaning and trying to force the devs to release yet another knee-jerk patch.

The game isn't even 2 weeks old and this entire thread (and so many other threads like this) already feels like "same old, same old".

    Totally true

I've never, EVER, had an issue with orochis. They are free. In fact most players on this game are free and not even a challenge. There are sharks out there in the gaming world, we are ready to body you. The wolves of lore.

The balance in this game is really on point. You guys need to calm down the salty cry posts and post some hard data with your salt.

Coming to the forums saying "THERES LITERALLY NOTHING I CAN DO, NERF" is bad kid talk. Throws are easily techable..
You can dash shoulder charges and un blockables.

Light attacks guard breaks and fundamental solid play is what you kids are lacking.

I can get on here and refute almost every post. Let's clean up the cry sessions.

I'm more than happy to assist people needing help in certain matchups. As a rep 3 conq I struggle more with a shugoki. Kensei are even more of a challenge than the orochi.

Their moves are so telegraphed. Lol.

What's up yall? KnivesDamor on ps4. Let's hit the custom games lab I'll show you how to tech guard breaks, dodge unblockables. All the tricks of the week 1 trade.
I play with a WARLORD, I must say, the dangerous oponents I have encounter, personaly, are the SHOGOKI, KENSEY AND CONQUERORS, they are, in skilled hands, really a challenge. I play mostly DUEL 1v1, and my first problem was the orohi, then i beat them one by one till i learned how to beat them, And eventually i will learn to beat the CONQUERORS like you ha. I espite crying babies that are bad players and cannot accept that. I had a hard timpe learning how to fitgh well in this game, something that is new in games nowadays.
