    Peacekeeper counter?

The peacekeeper is the only class I consistently have trouble against. Anyone got any suggestion how to fight her? While we're at it, how do you deal with opponents who almost exclusively use light attacks?

If they like to guard break you have to get good at blocking that, or you're pretty much screwed. Their lights are pretty fast so it might be better to just block instead of trying to parry, they can't do it forever. Also keeping your distance as Pk has a terrible range, makes it easy to punish them.

Well the problem is not the guardbreaking, I'm at least half-decent at getting out of those. The problem is that if she, or anyone for that matter, throws out light attacks only, I don't really have a reliable strategy against that besides hope mine hit them first.

    Parry.

Parrying will drain their stamina and force them to try another approach. Also, parrying a light attack stuns them long enough to get a heavy attack off which will usually deal 1/3 of their health if they are a small class. Also watch them after your blocks, if it breaks their chain it gives you time to get a guard break in. Keep your distance and play reactively to them. Patience is a warriors greatest weapon.

    Good luck.

Yeah if you can parry their attacks it will totally shut them down. I main as a Peacekeeper and that's the only thing that stops me from dominating people is if their Parry game is on point.

Yeah, stop trying to trade hits with an assassin first off. Any assassin, not just PK. That said, PK light attacks are fast, but you should be able to block with practice. They stop their chain when it's blocked, and it takes their stamina. Watch that, when stamina is low they can't counter attack or it will just end up with them out of stamina and doomed. Use that opportunity to attack. Also, spacing is their most major weakness. They have literally only one way to get to you quickly and not be open to attack, which is their forward dash heavy (which appears as them jumping at you and stabbing). This is a top attack, and is easily parried, which leads to them being open for a heavy attack and losing a third of their health.

That said, the other advice given was solid as well. If you can learn to parry them, you will melt them so fast that you'll wonder why you ever had any problems in the first place.

Coming from the perspective of a Rep 3, L16 Peacekeeper, I can tell you what works best against me. Mind you, I'm far from the best of PKs out there, but in my experience, here's your best ways to deal with us:

Conqueror: Your all block shuts down PKs no problem, usually leaving them open for an attack or grab after they bounce off your shield. Really, Conqueror seems to be the best counter to PKs, so long as you're patient and not overly aggressive. Try not to overuse their shield rush, because if you give them any room with it, it leaves you wide open for a sidestep stab and a little bit of bleeding tacked on.

Warlord: Similar situation to Conqueror, but you're trading a bit of defense for an uninterruptable heavy attack. This means you get punished more if you let one put you on the ropes, but if you're carefully defensive, you're even more likely to pull off a counter heavy after a successful block without having to risk parrying.

Valkyrie: While it runs contrary to the Valkyrie's generally hyper-aggressive style I see most people using, play super defensive. Turtle a lot, use that all block, and then take advantage of their super fast combos anytime you see us flinch. They have a good sidestep stab as well, but if you choose the wrong side, the PK will punish you more than you can them.

Berserker: Stay mobile. Sidestep a lot. In a pitched head-on battle the PK is going to outdamage you, but if you can keep them guessing and mix up side-step attacks with their crazy combo, you'll wittle them down pretty quickly. Don't forget to work in heavy top attacks into your combo, it looks like an opening to less experienced PKs and they will damage you, but you'll come down hard on them anyway, and they can't take much in the way of hits. Also, be really good at guard break countering, because the PK will likely start grabbing you out of your sidestep otherwise.

Nobushi: You got the range, use it. Don't ever let them in close, keep harrassing with pokes and wittle them down. Don't be afraid to let them bleed to death. If they get in close, you're probably dead if you don't get away instantly, but if you take advantage of your range, you can pin them.

Shugoki: Try your best to keep distance. Once they get close enough to be able to light attack you, you're going to lose your uninterruptability, and then it's likely game over. But if you keep them at a distance, there's not much they can do. You'll trade blows almost every attack, but your superior health and damage resistance will win out.

Oroshi/Peacekeeper: Just gotta be better than them. No real solid advice. Keep your distance with Oroshi when you can, and with PK just gotta keep them on the defensive.

Warden/Lawbringer/Raider/Kensei: PK just seems to have the advantage against these guys. All the above advice is the best you've got with them. Honestly, if I"m on top of my game, the only one of those capable of giving me any trouble is the Kensei. I don't have any solid advice beyond what's already been stated.

And that's what I got. That, and, of course, practice. Find yourself a friend who PK mains and ask them for some training duels so you can get more acclimated to fighting them in a controlled environment with someone who can point out just why they got the advantage when they did.
