As everyone is aware now, that high end gear and revenge builds are really screwing up the game.
but i have a relatively easy solution for it.
First change the Gear so it only raises one stat, leaves one at default and lowers the other (currently it raises 2 and lowers one) this would go a long way to helping keep the gear under control and would make people have to really specialise. as you can only raise one, sacrifice another, and leave one untouched.
Second Change is to move some of the gear stats around.
i will list them all and highlight the ones that have moved.
Helmet
- Debuff Resistance
- [Feat Cooldown Reduction]
- Exhaustion Recovery
Chest
- Execution Health Regen
- Block Damage
- Sprint Speed
Arms
- Block Damage Resistance
- Revive Speed
- Stamina Regen
Weapon 1
- Attack
- Defence
- Stamina Cost Reduction
Weapon 2
- [Throw Distance]
- Revenge Mode Defence
- [Revenge Duration]
Weapon 3
- [Revenge Gain by Defence]
- Revenge Mode Attack
- Revenge Gain by Injury
This change would stop Revenge from being so OP, as you would now have to make a choice, quick to gain, or hard hitting. wouldn't be able to have both, as if you went for Attack, that mean one of the gains would stay at it's default and the other would be lower, and then with the defence, you would have to choice between defence or duration.
all in all this would make players have to specialise more, and would help balance out gear far more.
Also it goes without saying that revenge should not build in a 1on1. but that was said many times during testing so doubt that will change
Yeah, i'm fine with Revenge as a mechanic, but with the Current Gear Stats, it can be used and abused. gets silly when people can pop Revenge have it run out and after one block pop it again, and the whole time he is in revenge mode he can two shot anyway. which isnt that hard to do well in revenge.
You Clearly did not bother reading. so it is you that does not know of what you speak.Originally Posted by FRAKTICA Go to original post
i proposed that instead of bumping two stats up, one down. it only do one. so one stat goes up, one stat goes down, and one stays default. basically keeping it the way Rare gear works, it's really only the Heroic Gear that causes the Problem
