PS: no, the Warden doesn't use a great sword, thats a bastard-sword, I'm talking about a Zweihander.

That is no Bastard Sword. That is a legitimate european longsword and the techniques used are reminiscent of artistic renditions of how knights back then used them, including the halfswording techniques used(That is when the warden grabs the blade during executions)

In fact Bastard sword refers to the term "Irregular Sword" which was usually a sword that fell between the longsword and shortsword, or to the french it refered to the rapier and espada ropera.

What your looking for was refered to a Bidenhander (Two-Hander) and was generally used to protect breaches in a spear line and protect banner holders as it was a very unwieldy weapon.

But...What I would like to see from the knights side is either a bonafied warhammer that doesn't steal too much from the raiders or Lawbringers play style, OR I would like to see a Short sword and shortspear(Potentially with a streamer banner attached) concept wise its great but don't think it happened much if at all in history.

The Warden uses a longsword, which is largely a catch-all term for any edged straight-sword. Given the way he uses it (exclusively swings), he'd have been better off with a Messer.
