Flanged mace is not the same as a flail. The two weapons perform drastically different. It'd be the same as comparing a spear to a glaive.Originally Posted by Skarik- Go to original post
They're probably just placeholders for the other 4 warriors that presumably haven't been designed yet.Originally Posted by PRAETORlAN Go to original post
wasn't responding to you, just hypothetical people who think that all two handed European swords are great swordsOriginally Posted by Skarik- Go to original post
A hammer class for the vikings would be awesome. I'm not sure if they historically used war hammers like knights but they have a precedent given viking mythology.
To be fair the Warden uses the worlds ****tiest longsword.Originally Posted by Stankyfoot Go to original post
Id love to see a "man at arms" class, sword and board for the knights however since we have that in the warlord so that probably won't happen. In any event, I agree a 2hander would be fun, but if they did that they would have to rework the warden as his longswording is.... weird... asides from the light combo and top light he is waaaaaaaaay too slow for a longsword user. A Zweihander would be cool, but imo due to the way 2handers were used bk then(or rather weren't really) Hed be a shungoki type heavy... and well ..... we have that... so dunno maybe just cosmetic flavor?
I want a knight wielding a ZWEIHANDER, at first you might think it would be too similar to Warden, but the fighting style is diferent, it was used on wars fight at "distance" since it is so huge in size, giant warriors used to kill several people in one swing, there are reports that a knight decapitated 6 oponents with one swing.
So his kit would be heavy damage, some unblockables, disables, high range and slow attacks, a mix between raider and nobushi? He would be good in 4v4s and keeping the oponnent far. Also his aesthetics would be pretty cool, customizing the sword.
