Guys whta you think is the new classes in season pass,one is roman for sure the other any opinion ?

I'd be horrifically disappointed if Roman was the best that could be thought up as it completely detracts from the Knight aesthetic... at least where I am concerned. In addition we already have a character with a Shield and Gladius and Shield and One-Handed Spear in the Warlord and Valkyrie.

My hope is that the Knight Classes could be something like a Monk with a Quarter Staff, a Celtic Spearman on foot (though this crosses into Nobushi territory), or maybe a Man-At-Arms character with a Buckler and War-Hammer

The monk seems the most likely to me from the way I interpret the DLC silhouettes graphic but then I could be horrifically wrong. I just don't see where people are getting the Centurion concept from.

I'd like to see a flanged mace/shield combo for the knights.

The game has enough blades, I want to see some blunt force trauma.

You just described the conqueror..

Probably Not really trustable but on the back side of the Gold Edition you See some people and someone has a crossbow in his Hand, but id really doubt they put ranged characters in the game.


For a guess, weapon wise, the only thing left is like a swashbuckler, with a rapier, that Deflects attacks with his buckler or something like that.

Warden has already a long sword but maybe a character with a greatsword but that is to sight Difference doubt that.

Few random ideas
A holy knightish character with a warhammer/Maul, with like a Aura that Rallies teammates.

Well damn i thought i can come up with more but weapon wise thats kinda it, wonder what they will come up with

I'd rather a Shugoki esq heavy with a greatsword. Conversely I'd like to see the Samurai get a true defensive hero as the Shugoki is more of an assault tank that honestly has more in common with the Raider than the Warlord or Conquerer.

PS: no, the Warden doesn't use a great sword, thats a bastard-sword, I'm talking about a Zweihander.

Currently, only Nobushi and Valkyrie have predominately thrusting movesets. I wouldn't be surprised to see a lance or pike wielding knight.

It would be neat to play as a Mastiff or some kind of war animal in later DLC though. Story mode already has Gudmundr's giant wolves and the elephant.

Well wow... now i understand where people get the Roman ******** from. Well thats out of damn story...

The games concept was atleast staying with weapons that were used during a battlefield... that were used in a Formation of thousands during a historical battle,
I would have accepted kusarigamas, but peasentry sickles...

Am I the only one, but apart from the "Centurion" and the "Kamikaze Ninja", the other 4 look EXACTLY like what we already have already? From left to right - Conqueror, Kensei (Orochi maybe), Warden, Raider...

Also btw Skarik- if you play the campaign, and actually listen to the stuff Apollyon says upon looking at "observables", she even mentions Centurions who were thought to be extinct, but "she knows they arent because she met with them", so...

EDIT: Found it, she says "The Iron Legion were based on an older civilization. Many believed that these warriors of old, the Centurions, were a myth. I know they are real because I met them." So yeah, they already made the connection between the two.
