This post is here to promote discussion on the best possible strategy for Lawbringer in his current state, not to talk about how he needs a buff (although that would be nice).

There's a lot to say about Lawbringer. Is he worthless? Nope, not at all. Is he significantly more difficult (close to impossible) to play as you get into higher tier matches? Definitely.
A lot of Lawbringer play is focused around shoves and your enemy's reaction to being shoved. Most will dodge, which you can get a free GB out of and a side heavy into another shove. You can also use Long Arm out of shove and if they dodge too early in your Long Arm windup it will TRACK them 360 degrees and hit regardless of their dodge.
Although his "counter-attacker" status is pretty inaccurate because of his reaction speeds, his disabler status is pretty clear. Long Arm is spammable in teamfights to lock someone down and prevent them from making use of revenge, and you can also get some cheeky ledge kills with it (which is super fun btw, they're never ready).
Here's something I learned recently and tested. If you parry a light attack, you can use either the Parry>Charge or the Parry>Unblockable overhead with NO risk. They simply CANNOT parry it because of their recovery time. If you parry a heavy attack, neither of these attacks are guaranteed and both are rather easily parried. Recovery time for light and heavy parries are slightly different.
Another fun but annoying thing I encountered was a lawbringer who would occasionally disengage and unlock from combat to sprint a bit and either get an unlocked GB or a charge into a wall for a free overhead heavy. It was obnoxious, and eventually I learned to expect it, but it's something to mix up your fight a bit.
