I did manage to dodge some of these, but you have to be quick.Originally Posted by Felis_Menari Go to original post
Yeah the Lawbringer is currently one of the weak class. Still: It doesn't mean they aren't dangerous. People would be amazed at how some guy can be efficient with them last time I took it I manged to trash an Oroshi on duel, simply put: I played on the defense and use my quick attack to get him. (the Up-Light is pretty fast and can do wonder.)
This ability is cancer in group fights. It has to be nerfed, and to all the people whining about the Lawbringer being underpowered, yes you're right. This is not the solution to the Lawbringer being a useless class though. They need to fix the Lawbringer's kit entirely, give him faster attacks and some confirmed damage outside of guard breaks, and make this flip cost half his stamina so it can't be spammed.
Random and little known fact is that Long Arm will track your opponent 360 degrees and still hit them if they dodge sideways at the same moment you start the Long Arm, making it a decent counter for characters without dodge attacks.Originally Posted by VaadKradum Go to original post
I did it against someone in a 1v1 duel and the other guy just sat there laughing the whole time. Honestly it's funny as hell when it isn't used in a teamfight because it's pointless. In a teamfight scenario though, especially in Elimination and Skirmish modes where a lot of teams will just make a murder squad and all run as a group and never die, it's deadly to get caught even once, let alone constantly.
I'll record it (and the ensuing rage it can cause and the constant "you're trash" and "You're ****ing terrible at the game" which is actually pretty funny imo) and post a link here and try to get a Ubi mod to take a good look at it and decide what the best course of action is to prevent this from being permanently spammed in teamfights without affecting Lawbringer's already abysmal reaction time after Long Arming someone.
If the stamina cost increases for Long Arm, other unblockable/unparryable attacks for other characters should likewise cost more to decrease spammage. Or, the lawbringer should get a guaranteed heavy after tossing someone. Long Arm is only an abusable in 2v1, 3v1, 4v1; the lawbringer's 1v1 capability shouldn't suffer because of it.Originally Posted by ZenBearV13 Go to original post
