Well no, because it's easier to change stance for the attacker as well, making it easier for them to switch sides in an attack chain or switch stance after a feint etc.Originally Posted by nyrue Go to original post
And I am supporting this, too. Saw a video of a guy who managed to freely rotate the stick at the deadzone border, but the stance didn't kick in once. This cannot be an XBox Elite Controller Exclusive only! Using a mouse only needs a muscle tickle to change stance / block. And we are talking about fractures of a second reaction time. Sliding the stick til the edge is a looong way for the reaction we need.
Little off-topic: same goes for the guardbreak button. Please let us decidem where to put that button like Keyboard users are free to decide. The thumb-way from the right stick to the X-Button is way too far except you have supernatural reflexes or japanese fingers..
Pls implement better dead zone controll. When my oponent quickly switches stances with mouse/ keyboard my joystick will always be slightly slower due to deadzones. Tried both, with mouse / keyboard it is so much more easy to react quickly, as there is no delay in command as you have to move the right stick almost halfway until it reacts in a guard change.
So please, implement an adjustment for the sensitivity ingame, as I feel quite at an disadvantage here.
After hours of configuration in Big Picture Mode in Steam my controller now works as it should. With fast guard change response time.
Dear Ubi employees, pls take a controller and fight somebody with m/k who knows what he is doing and switches stances frequently. Enjoy trying to counter all his moves while you feel like your character switches like he is on vacation...
Specifically referencing For Honor.
The 360 controller on PC has been HORRIBLE. Blocking/parrying or changing attack direction is nearly a 80-90% fail rate. Huge deadspace in both sticks. You have to damn near slam the sticks into the edge to get them to register any input. If you circle around the outer edge of the sticks range of motion, it doesn't register you hitting any of the guard stances over 50% of the time, basically hits every other position or so(replicate that with the mouse and it hits ALL of the guard positions as fast as you can change them).
Also, there is an inability to use Full Guard or Hidden Stance.
I have a thread which includes all the Controller issues I've currently discovered with Video confirmation of most of them;

You were able to increase the guard sensitivity??? If so, how?Originally Posted by Blowfeld1981 Go to original post
